We work closely with AMP, our members (Authorised Representatives of AMP Financial Planning) and other Associations. Our representative board, consultancy groups and individual members partner with AMP to help them provide relevant, cost effective and appropriate financial planning advice, products and services.
Our primary role is to represent our members. We ensure that AMP’s products and solutions remain contemporary and competitive. We advocate the benefits of client education and using an AMP Financial Planner, which helps our planners’ clients make better and more informed financial decisions.
Our records show our members have been looking after Australians since the 1920s, and AMP advisers almost since they started in 1849. Our members keep their clients’ best interests at heart, and deliver great value to them. They help them to understand their financial choices and provide strategies that turn aspirations into a better tomorrow.
As a non-profit, incorporated association it is important we manage our costs and have appropriate systems, people, processes and policies in place to represent our members in a transparent, efficient and effective way. This allows our members to focus on providing services and solutions to their clients and community.
